Parents and Students – Do you have bags of old markers, pens, pencils, spiral notebooks, lunch boxes, colored paper, binders, glue sticks or gently used backpacks and other school supplies taking up space at home? You can bring those old supplies to the office at CWMS. Packs with Love began several years ago to make sure homeless and foster kids in the Bay Area have a backpack filled with school supplies on their first day of school. They collect gently used backpacks, clean them up and fill them with school supplies. Their website is http://www.packswithlove.com/ Bins are set up in the main office at Charlotte Wood for donations.
6th Grade Parents – you must provide proof of the Whooping Cough vaccine for your child before they enter 7th grade. If you have not done so yet, please send the verification to Beth Robertson as soon as possible.
Attention All Parents – You will be required to do registration online in August for the 2013-2014 school year using the Parent Portal. This is District wide and is not Schoolloop. If you have not created a Parent Portal account, please do so immediately. We will not mail report cards in June. Report cards will be accessed using your Parent Portal account. Send an email to PortalHelp@srvusd.net to obtain your GUID Activation Key and begin the process.
A Notice From The Cafeteria – If you owe money to the cafeteria it must be paid back by the last week of school. We will no longer allow students to charge a lunch to their account if they don’t have any money. They will however be offered salad bar and milk. All students are required to repay their outstanding balances. Thank you, Kathy Kuhner.
